Questions I ask myself when I’m taking pictures

Did religions start because people chose mystery over impatience? Did they form in the visions of ergot consuming mystics?  Or in the explosions inside the minds of those taken to the edge of physical endurance … crossing the desert, meditating, finding a new home, chasing game? Or did its formation lead to new homelands, new trials, which led to those mental explosions? I read this week about a woman who spent a one million $ inheritance buying a mountain for the glory of God. It sounded like a magnificent gesture to me, until I read the article.  I’d opt for a second sun, and travel through time and space.
